What to expect

Our salt cave, or salt room, is the biggest in Acadiana. When you walk in, you are greeted by the salt bed on the floor, filled with Pink Himalayan Rock Salt. This bed helps keep the room cool and dry. It also creates a great place to lay down and relax.

You will notice the soft ring of the music and the soft, warm glow of the salt lamps scattered around the cave. During our Reserve the Cave sessions, we can tailor the music and brightness levels to your liking. Most enjoy the room with the lights at the lowest brightness and the music just loud enough to cover the sounds of the halogenerator. The Halogenorator can be noisy for some people, so earplugs are available for your comfort if necessary.

The Halogenorator is the engine in our salt room. It grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt down to nano-sized particles, small enough for you to breathe in. Studies have shown this magic salty dust helps aid in your mental, physical, and emotional health.

While our clients have found relief from many ailments using our salt cave, dry salt therapy does not cure diseases. Halotherapy is not recommended for people with contagious diseases, fever, open wounds, lung cancer, severe hypertension, mental disorders, or active tuberculosis. Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before using Halotherapy. Anyone with serious health concerns needs to seek proper medical advice and care.
